Absolutely fantastic, cod middle was perfectly cooked and delicious. Chips were equally nice, staff were really helpful and cooked in beef dripping. Overall an exceptional traditional fish and chips ship.

we called in on a motorcycle ride out .. the staff were great and friendly .. our fish was cooked to order .. the fish was piping hot, the batter was superb and lots of flavour with the fish .. chips were hot and dry (not greasy) and potato was fluffy .. if you like your chips you'll love them Recommended

Fantastic fish and chips. It's really tasty. Coming from New Zealand, these were the best we've ever had! Really friendly customer service, too. The batter on the fish was perfection! Really reasonably priced. Highly recommend

Living down on the south coast,you would assume the fish and chips,would be some of the best around?Sadly not. When my partner and I visit her mother in great Ayton, the first meal on my agenda is fish and chips, with curry sauce from Aytons fish and chips. These fish and chips are by far the best They beat any I've ever eaten,hands down. We are currently planning on relocating to great Ayton and I can't wait A slower pace of life,surrounded by beautiful countryside and lovely people and let's not forget,the best fish and chips, right on our doorstep.,and a couple of great pubs. What's not to love about this place.
